Relocation Complete...

Greets and Sals and welcome to the page of all things Shelton.  It's been a few weeks since I have posted any updates, so I thought it was high time that I take the time to do just that.

First of all...how are you?  (cue active listening pause, followed by random nods, empathetic eyebrow raises, and monosyllabic responses)

Now, back to me.  I'm good, thanks for asking.  I have now completed my move down to the beautiful land of Santa Monica.  Moving from a small town to the big city has not been without its challenges for me, but 24-hour Jewish deli's and numerous Irish pubs have made it all better.  Like a band-aid to the belly.  =)

Now that I'm all settled in - the booking has begun.  For my Central Coast friends - I've still been traveling up to see you on weekends.  For my new LA friends, new gigs have already started.  I played a short, 45-minute set at Sonny McLean's in Santa Monica last night.  Walking into an Irish pub full of happy and eager Irish youth watching a game is always daunting for any musician.  However, I killed it, and had a great time with everyone there.  I'll be back.  Thanks to all of my new friends for such a good night!
